Snorkeling

You don't have to be a scuba diver to enjoy the ocean! Just grab a pair of fins and a mask and have a great time watching things from the surface.

Ocean kayaks

Explore the coves and deserted beaches on single or double ocean kayaks. This is an excellent workout tool! And for guests staying in Sandbar Boquete Beach Club use of ocean kayaks is free of charge!

Windsurfing

During many months of the year there are moderate winds blowing. Start directly in front of the resort rom the private beach right into the world famous Puerto Galera bay. Surf and enjoy the fabulous view. Beginner courses under qualified supervision at a very reasonable fee.

Sailing

Ever dreamed about sailing? Going for another experience besides scuba diving?
The same as for Windsurfing is holding true for sailing. Start just in front of Sandbar Boquete Beach Club. The Puerto Galera Yacht Club is just 5 minutes away.
Sometimes regattas are organized here.

Tennis

Use of tennis court is also free of charge for guests staying in Sandbar Boquete Beach Club. Just bring your own racquets or rent them here.

Beach hopping

Have a day on the beach! Besides the long sandy private beach in front of Sandbar Boquete Beach Club there are more public white sandy beaches in walking distance (10 minutes).
Snorkel in secluded coves, Bar-B-Q on the beach and have a party!

Rent-a Motorcycle

See the waterfalls, ride up to the Ponderosa for a round of golf, or just spend the day cruising.... (Dirt road driving experience required)

Golf

The Ponderosa Golf Club features a 9 hole course set in the hills overlooking the coastline and providing magnificent views. The course is open to anyone; clubs are available for hire.

Trekking tours

Various day or overnight trekking tours to the various attractions of Puerto Galera or though the jungle can be arranged through a local operator.
