History

Sabang Divers were established and managed in the year 2000 by Günter Feis located in the Sabang-Inn resort.
From the humble beginning he managed to have business grow and become a respected player at Sabang Beach. It grew further with divers of many nationalities coming from around the world.

In 2004 Ralf Arens joined in. Together they took over and managed the Sabang Inn Dive Resort which included 16 rooms, a restaurant and the dive operation Sabang Divers.

Due to increasing business the Management team was reinforced by Klaus Reitschuster in the year 2006.

In the year 2008 they welcomed international customers from over 40 countries and 5 continents. The concept of excellent service and extremely individualized diving caused many divers come back, sometimes several times a year.

In August 2008 a major change occurred. The business location changed from Sabang Beach into the wonderful Puerto Galera bay. Sabang Divers are now operating out of the Sandbar Boquete Beach Club to join forces to meet the challenges of the upcoming years..
The spacious place offers different leisure time activities next to diving. The Management of the Sandbar Boquete Beach Club is strongly committed to eco-tourism.
Sabang Divers are still committed to the same high standards they had before, of course. Small groups, divers participation in the selection of dive sites are still the norm and carrying tanks something you may experiencing somewhere else.

Training in scuba diving has always been an emphasis with Sabang Divers, entry level as well as continuing education. IN the years 2003 until 2006 they have been a PADI 5* IDC Gold Palm Resort and as such also been involved in Instructor level training. Business related reasons imposed the shift to another diver training organization: TDI / SDI.
Since 2007 Sabang Divers are a TDI / SDI 5* Resort Dive Center and as such also involved in continuing education up to Instructor level. This change helped in satisfying the growing demand in education in technical diving.
