From an elevated location like the Ponderosa golf club one can enjoy the scenic view of the Puerto Galera bay, Luzon straight and Verde island to the right.
A shot taken from an airplane gives an overview of Sandbar Boquete Beach Club with the main beach at the front.
Coming onto the peninsula Boquete the small “sandbar” widens and gives access to the resort. To the left a smaller stretch of beach which is also part of the resort.
Moving inland on the peninsula Boquete it is possible to get an overview over the resort. The island is not much developed, nature still prevails in most parts!
If you get up early you can enjoy the peaceful time of sunrise with all its spectacular colours right in front of the main beach.
Sunset can be seen from the other beach just a few steps away from the main complex.
During midday the beach has a white colour. Nice to see, in particular with the green grass and the blue ocean embedding it.
Later in the day longer shadows will grow larger.
A view from about the same location as in the “late noon “picture just to the other side gives a good impression about the size of the beach. Never crowded!!
The beach to the other side is more stony. However one can walk along and see Mangroves. Also snorkelling is possible or starting a kayak tour this way.
Aside from the private beach inside the resort area there are other beaches as well on the same island. These are white sandy public beaches.
Some places can just be reached from the water. Maybe by using a kayak or renting a boat while combining a boat trip with one or two stops on a remote beach.
